How It Works (Step by Step)
1. Set Up the Tools (Drag & Drop)
Start by dragging the apps you need into the n8n workspace.
- Begin with WhatsApp as your main communication channel.
- Since WhatsApp can’t process complex data on its own, you’ll need to give it a brain.
Add an AI Agent node and connect it to ChatGPT, so it can understand questions and reason through the data.
2. Connect Your Google Sheets Data
Paste the Google Sheets URL (where your data lives) into the Google Sheets node.
This tells the AI exactly where to find the information it needs.
3. Filter, Calculate, and Respond
- In the demo, two additional Google Sheets nodes are used to filter data based on conditions such as:
- Status
- Product Name
- Status
- This ensures the results are accurate and relevant.
- Next, add a Calculator node to handle all the math.
- Finally, connect everything back to WhatsApp so the results can be sent straight to you.
What It Looks Like in Real Life
Imagine sending this message on WhatsApp:
